Amici 2023-2024 chooses its finalists in the semi-final on the evening of Sunday 12 May. Maria De Filippi’s talent show will celebrate her final act on Saturday 18 May.
In the semifinals
Marisol is the first to qualifybeating first Sarah and then Midas in the first heat of the semi-final. Dustin is therefore promotedanother dancer in the running for the title. Soon after, Petit takes the pass for the finalbecoming the first singer to qualify for the evening of May 18th.
The next heat involves Holden, Midas and Sarah chasing promotion: it is Holden the fourth finalistas well as the fourth representative of the team of Rudy Zerbi and Alessandra Celentano, and earns the shirt that admits him to next Saturday’s episode as second singer.
For the last available place, Mida and Sarah remain in the running, both representatives of the team led by Lorella Cuccarini and Emanuel Lo. “You don’t have to perform again, you have sung enough”, says Maria De Filippi to the two boys in the key moment of the very long evening of challenges and verdicts. Mida is the fifth finalist. “I don’t create anticipation but I create surprise”, says Maria De Filippi before giving Sarah a communication from the judges, who ask the production to also admit the singer: Sarah Toscano is the sixth finalistshe will also be there on May 18th in the race.
