A “colourful” festival. This is the hope of Céline Pommier, president of the Le Diapason d’argent association, who will organize the choral festival of 1000 voices in Périgord on Saturday 11 May, starting at 2pm, at the Théâtre de Périgueux (free entry).
For the occasion, five vocal ensembles will perform on stage. The group Core Corsu, from Montendre (Charente-Maritime), will open the musical afternoon, followed by the choirs Au Chœur de Lary, from Montlieu-la-Garde (Charente-Maritime) and Voix de l’Amitié, from Bias (Lot-et -Garonne). The Périgord ensemble Trois Petites Notes, from Sanilhac, will take over, before the duo JuSt, from Saint-Genis-d’Hiersac (Charente) concludes this festival.
