Joe Bastianich leaves the Island of the Famous 2024 due to a health problem. Elenoire Casalegno welcomed the chef to the Palapa and asked him to explain his current situation during the episode which aired yesterday, Monday 13 May. “I’m leaving” exclaimed Joe explaining that, due to some physical problems, he cannot continue the game and for this reason he is very sorry. “The doctor advised me not to continue, and it is a decision that deeply saddens me on a personal level. So, unfortunately, I have to leave the Island. It is a difficult situation for me, but it is necessary,” he said.
Then I invite his teammates to never give up. At this point, before finally saying goodbye to the castaway, Vladimir Luxuria decided to say a few words for him, complimenting him on the splendid adventure and thanking him for having made this island special: “You are a strong element here on the island, so it is obvious that we all would like you to stay. I understand what you’ve been through these days. But between having you here on the show as a strength and protecting your health, we are undoubtedly on the side of your health Joe, thank you for your humanity I can’t wait to see you in the studio.” For Joe Bastianich the adventure on The Island of the Famous is therefore over.
Rosanna Lodi eliminated: whoever gave Judas’s kiss
During the episode of Monday 13 May, Rosanna Lodi was eliminated from the reality show. “It’s fine, it was a wonderful experience, I thank you all”, she said, then giving the Judas kiss, or a point for the subsequent nomination, to Greta Zuccarello.
The nomination
During the evening, the other castaways had to decide which contestants to nominate. The group’s choice fell on Artur Dainese and Valentina Vezzali, while the two leaders Edoardo Stoppa and Matilde Brandi voted respectively for Khady Gueye and Alvina Verecondi Scortecci.
