The awards ceremony of the 2nd took place on Friday 3 MayAnd edition of the All Artists competition, at the entertainment center of the municipality of Lesparre. Organized on the initiative of the principal of the Les Lesques college, Michel Gamain, and the Rotary Club Médoc – as part of its youth actions -, this competition was reserved for students of cycles 2 (CP/CE1/CE2) and 3 (CM1/CM2 /6And) schools in the area.
The target? Stimulate the artistic fiber and creativity of young people in the school network and bring them together around a unifying theme. This year they had to draw the peace tree. A highly symbolic theme in these difficult times. 27 classes from 14 structures therefore participated in the project. Winners won art supplies for their classroom or institution. The jury’s favorite was offered a one and a half hour session with the edition’s patron artist, Alix Jimenez. This young Texan artist is on an international exchange through the Rotary club and currently attends Odilon Redon High School.
The winners
“Before artificial intelligence takes over the drawing pad, here are quality original works, collective and collaborative works that warm the heart,” declared Michel Gamain in the preamble to the awards ceremony. This evening you will be able to observe that our young people are inventive, creative, very inspired and bearers of great values of solidarity. »
