It is under the guidance of the Mode Ouverture association that the city of Audincourt has created Ph’arts, a place entirely dedicated to the art of photography, with a new exhibition every month. This unique project celebrates its first anniversary this month
This is a truly large-scale project that the municipality of Audincourt has been developing for 1 year in collaboration and at the suggestion of the association. Opening modearound the art of photography.
The Ph’arts it has thus become the only house of photography in Burgundy Franche-Comté. Marie-Pierre Renaud is the president of the association Opening mode. Today she is very proud of the success of the monthly exhibitions. It is all the work of volunteers and administrators that is rewarded,

A rich exhibition calendar until January….2026!
Every month, a new artist is invited to exhibit their photographic work, chosen by the members of the association. The requests are now numerous and the calendar of events is already full until the beginning of 2026. Eric Peugeott, artistic director of Ph’arts and member of the association since its creation, and at the origin of the Ph’arts project, tells us: “This place works like a real art gallery. We carefully select all the exhibitors and I travel very regularly across France to discover talents and ask them to come and exhibit with us.”
The association Opening mode takes care of framing the photos during the exhibition, and takes care of hanging and dismantling them together with the volunteers. It goes without saying that in just a few months the venue has become a point of reference in the sector, and photography enthusiasts are not wrong! The large windows on the facade are never empty.

Masterclass to discover the art of photography
These courses, offered by the association, are reserved for association members, today there are around fifty who benefit from them, on topics mainly focused on photographic art and the production of photos that capture attention.
The association also offers introductions to schools, a fun and original way to convey this passion that animates every member of the association.

Beautiful month of May for Emmanuel Rivallain and his cyclists
Journalist for France 3 Bourgogne France Comté, his photos are exhibited this month on the walls of Ph’arts. She has depicted miniature cyclists in different situations, and all of his work is done on a mobile phone. Another peculiarity of this exhibition, which is entitled “Silent cyclists”, all the photos are presented in square format, of all sizes, even 10X10 cm cartoons!
You can meet the artist on site on Wednesday 8 and 15 May, from 2pm to 6pm, as well as on the weekends of 11 and 12 and 18 and 19 May. Please note that all photos displayed are for sale, without frames.
